The Friends of the Royal Hawaiian Band

Preserving Hawaiian Music Since 1979

 

Your contributions help insure the perpetuation of the Royal Hawaiian Band. Although it is an agency of the City and County of Honolulu, budget constraints require the Band to rely on the Friends for additional financial support.


The Friends plays a vital role in the production of cassettes and CDs. In the past, it has supported much of the Band's travel, and conducts frequent public awareness programs. In addition, the Friends has provided funds for new uniforms, equipment, accessories and after-parade refreshments for band members.


The Royal Hawaiian Band has helped preserve our island culture for over 160 years. Your support will help maintain this vital organization for generations yet to come.
