The Friends is a non-profit (501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the traditions and enrichment of the band's unique stature in today's modern world. Membership dues and monetary contributions are tax deductible and help to further the cause of the Royal Hawaiian Band and Hawaiian music.
