For your historical listening delight, and from the Library of Congress National Jukebox, below is a recording of the John Philip Sousa Band performing "Aloha ʻOe" on December 14, 1911, reminding us all just how important Hawaiian music is to the world.  The cornet soloist you will hear was the famed Herbert L. Clarke.
